On Board For Spirit Week

If you happen to be in the down-town area this week, and you're looking for a great way to participate in week two Folklorama, why not check out The Downtown Winnipeg Biz "Spirit Week" happening Monday, August 9th through Friday, August 13th on Winnipeg Transit's Downtown Spirit buses.
Riders will have the chance to win a 46" Sony Bravia TV, and will also be treated to on-board giveaways and live entertainment on select dates.
While riding on Winnipeg Transit Route 1 today, I had the chance to talk to a visitor named Philomena who was visiting Winnipeg from Los Angeles California. Philomena did not expect to be entertained while exploring down town. While listening to the steel drum, she stated:
She wrapped up by saying she enjoyed exploring downtown Winnipeg without the need of purchasing bus tickets.
When asked if she'd be checking out Week two of Folklorama, she stated she will be looking into it after having been entertained during her downtown travels.

"The Music sounds fine and wonderful! It effects the spirit of the bus, and the tour."Philomena stated that having the spirit bus available to her was a nice surprise.
