This week we broadcasted live from week two of Festival du Voyageur, from Fort Gibraltar.

We interviewed festival goers Heather and Taylor who shared their experiences and memories with us, as well as one of the Voyageurs who was working hard at the Fort.

We had a conversation with musical talent Guy Abraham who was performing as part of Festival, and repeated our interview with Vanessa Kuzina, lead vocalist of Oh My Darling, which we recorded at the 2011 Winnipeg Folk Festival.

We featured two tracks from Guy Abraham, the first called Lost In The Dark which comes off of the EP entitled Spark. The second track was recorded live at Festival du Voyageur called A Simple Spark.

On today's episode we featured music from Stephen Faulkner with his track Fermez les Honky Tonk.

We touched on Festival du Voyageur which kicked off this evening down at Festival Park in Winnipeg and featured some jigging music from the Lee Cremo Trio.

Finally we brought in Festival du Voyageur expert Rosalyn Dennett and Allison De Groot who are members of Oh My Darling, a Winnipeg Franco-Folk band.

Rosalyn and Allison played an Oh My Darling song from their album Sweet Nostalgia entitled Anna K live for us at UMFM Studios.

We ended the show with the song Mister Guy which also comes off the Sweet Nostalgia album.

We started the show off with our usual news and fuller notebook event listings and then kicked it off to the gushy stuff. . .

We discussed a new book written by Amy Leigh Mercree who is a Spiritual Dating Coach and author of the forthcoming book, The Spiritual Girl’s Guide to Dating: Your Enlightened Path to Love, Sex, and Soul Mates

We talked about a new Wine App called Wine Picks and Pairings made by Natalie MacLean, the editor of Canada’s largest wine web site at www.nataliemaclean.com.

We gave away a $400.00 Black & Decker Prize Pack which also contained all the tools needed to make that perfect valentines day dinner.(Sorry, this contest is now over).

Finally we featured two tracks in this episode including:

1) Flight of the Conchords - We're both in love with a sexy lady

2) The One AM Radio - An Old Photo Of Your New Lover.
